Together

The sun was falling down on a cool windy day. A brother and his young sister continued at their silly little child's play. Goofy Casper gently yanked at his sister's tail to get a reaction, of course she did not take long to think of a plan for retaliation. She nipped at his toes and caught him off guard with a lick. Casper yelped out loud, but only because he had his tongue bit...

"Heheh... A-Alright Rain. That's enough for now", the embarrassed Casper shook off the pain on his tongue and looked down at his sister. "It's going to get dark soon. We should head back."
"Nu" she refused with a pouty-face. Sitting down with crossed arms, still giving the pout. "I want to kep playing!" she exclaim with a whiny attitude.
Casper rolled his eyes and thought about it. "Boy, it's tough being the older sibling" he thought to himself, though his sister's behavior is nothing new. If anything she's very tricky and manages to get her brother to do the things that she wants. Though fooling someone like Casper is no surprise...

"Fine, but if you start crying when it gets really dark, don't come crying to me" he huffed at Rain, slightly annoyed. Rain sat up, raising her head in a sassy manner and simply catwalked passed him going over to a nearby rock. Trying to get a grip and climbing up she felt a head underneath her bum lifting her up. "Hey! I doot ned help!" as stubborn as she is, she doesn't quite realize she's still a bit small to be climbing certain objects that are bigger than her. Cheeks were red with embarrassment, once again she pouted and crossed her small arms.
Casper easily climbed up on the rock and sat next to Rain.

He noticed that she seems a bit more agitated than the norm. Given her speech and word pronounciation is a mess it's possible that her annoyance comes from the fact that no Wyngrew are capable of clearly understanding a word she's saying. Unknown as to why Casper can perfectly understand her sentences despite it usually doesn't make sense. He scooted himself closer to his sister, soon followed by comfort with a nuzzle on the shoulder. "Still mad that no one can understand you?" he asked as he gazes up at the stars that were already present.
Rain avoided eye contact but her brows lowered and she nodded. If anything she's thankful that her brother is capable of understanding every single world that she speaks. For that she is very much grateful.

Skies were getting darker by each passing minute. Gazing up at the stars that shine bright, Casper was feeling the mood for a song. A song that he and his sister loves to sing...

"Remember that song we always used to sing any time it got dark like this?" Rain looked up at him but knew what he was getting at. A song that she only knows how to say and sing perfectly...
Both lifted their heads, closing their eyes, beginning to synchronize in song...
